Directed by Spike Lee, Go Brazil Go was an ambitious feature documentary that set out to capture the voices and visions shaping contemporary Brazilian society. As the Brazilian production company, escritorio.tv led an extensive effort, conducting over one hundred interviews with artists, politicians, entrepreneurs, and cultural figures from across the country. Though the film was never released, the experience remains one of our proudest achievements — a rare encounter with the breadth, complexity, and creativity of Brazil in dialogue with one of cinema’s great storytellers.
There’s photographic proof. Spike Lee. A Super 8mm camera. In Brazil.
